Two NPP Supporters Killed in Motor Accident



At least two supporters of the opposition New Patriotic Party are reported killed in a motor accident. This occurred when an urvan mini-van carrying them to a Constituency Rally at Kpedzegblo, in the Central Tongu Constituency was involved in a fatal accident between Wute and Dadogboe on the Mafi Kumase – Adidome road.

Eyewitnesses say the accident occurred when the driver of Urvan Mini van tried to overtake a taxi cab but,  veered off the road and plunged into a depression beside the road.

So far, its reported that over ten people have sustained severe injuries and most are feared dead. At least two of the victims, clad in party paraphernalia, lay dead on the ground at the time of this report.

Among the people at the scene was Hopeson Adorye and some notable party stalwarts in the Constituency who, obviously, were leading the team.
