Man commits suicide in Nabdam District

A 50 years old man has reportedly committed suicide by shooting himself to death at Zuah in the Nabdam District of the Upper East Region.

Though, circumstances leading to the incident are not readily known to the public, a resident who spoke to A-1 Radio on grounds of anonymity confirmed that the incident happened at about 9pm Sunday, in the Deceased’s room at the family house.

He recounted; “It was in the night, one of our relatives called me around 9; to tell me that is what he had heard. I was on bed, so I tried calling [people] to find out. Later I got somebody and the person said it was true. That’s what they heard and when they run there, they saw him lying dead. When I tried to find out how it happened, everybody was wailing; they couldn’t actually confirm how it happened. They were crying and no one was willing to talk.”

Meanwhile, security experts have moved to the murder scene to conduct investigations regarding the unfortunate incident.
