Landlord throws out NAM 1’s Zylofon Media

Zylofon Media, one of the many businesses run by embattled gold dealership Menzgold, CEO, Nana Appia Mensah is on the verge of collapse.
According to news report coming from Tamale in the Northern Region of Ghana, the owner of the building accommodating the office of Zylofon Media is renting out his office space.
The landlord an ex-military officer is renting out the space which once held as the premises of Zylofon Media in Tamale.
This is occurring barely a year after the office was opened for business.
Zylofon Media, Tamale, was commissioned on November 27, 2017 amidst pomp and grandeur.
Then managers of Zylofon Media in Tamale said the venture was in efforts to retain and nurture talents in the three northern regions of the country for the Creative Arts Industry.
Together with promises of an exciting future, Zylofon Media assured musicians in the north the benefits of their presence in the locality.
But alas, this is not to be, as currently bold signage with the words “For Rent’, hang above and over the building they occupy as office.
The past few months have been very turbulent for its parent company, Menzgold and this could be one of the reasons for such fold up.
Menzgold came under the scrutiny of the authorities after some irregularities were discovered in its operations
Not only have they been unable to pay their customers but an international arrest was placed out for their CEO, NAM1.
NAM1 who was believed to have absconded the country was arrested in Dubai by emirate officials.
The Landlord for the said property in Tamale, King David refused to comment on the situation of the now ‘abandoned’ music entity. Also, Managers of Zylofon Media in Tamale are not readily available to comment.
