Desist from using Dagbon Chieftaincy fortunes to make political gains- Dagbon Youth group to politicians

A group calling itself Dagbon Malimi Zungo Youth Group in the Northern Region has urged politicians in the country, especially those from the northern enclave to desist from using the Dagbon Chieftaincy fortunes to make political gains; warning that such perpetrators would have themselves to blame.

Chairman of the group, Alhaji Jagbo Baako, gave the warning in an address to the media in Tamale, Wednesday.

He said “We are by this medium sending a word of caution to the politicians in Ghana especially those from our part of the country, some of whom have shamelessly use our unfortunate situation for their political gains to desist from it henceforth or have themselves to blame. If chieftaincy is the only means to your political power, please do the right thing by changing a job”.

He indicated that the youth of Dagbon will not be deceived by the historic achievement of a successful coronation of their Overlord to mean an end to disunity in the area.

Alhaji Jagbo further assured that the youth of dagbon will contribute significantly to building the once shinning kingdom and beacon of peace in Sub-Sahara Africa.
