Prof. Abole indicated that the establishment of the District hospital falls in line with the government’s vision to increase accessibility to healthcare facilities in the country.

He further assured the residents that government is committed to developing the new district hence the need for all to support.

Operating under severe infrastructural challenges, the Bolgatanga East District was early 2018 curved out of Bolgatanga Municipal Assembly.
