Black Stars: Appiah better than Grant – Osei Kofi

Black Stars former coach Kwasi Appiah is better than the current technical handler of the men’s senior national football team, Avram Grant, claims Ghanaian soccer legend Rev Osei Kofi.

According to the former Africa Cup of Nations winner, the ex-Kotoko defender did a better job than what Avram Grant is currently doing with the national team.

“…What Coach Avram Grant is doing, Kwasi Appiah rather did better than Avram Grant because he produced most of the players Avram Grant is currently using. What player has Avram Grant brought into the team? Kwasi Appiah brought in most of these players he is using. What has Avram [Grant] done?” he asked Class Sports’ Kwame Dwomoh-Agyemang in an interview.

The Black Stars are currently without a win in four games and have been drawn in a tough group for the 2017 Cup of Nations.

Ghana will play Uganda, Egypt and Mali in the group stages. Avram Grant has been tasked to win the competition.
